Maxine McKoy has been a disciple for over 30 years with the Toronto Church of Christ. She has volunteered with HOPE worldwide Canada since its inception in Toronto, supporting different community activities, such as coaching basketball and volunteer activities for children in lesser served communities. She also participates with fundraising initiatives to support the charity. She now serves as secretary of the board for HOPE worldwide Canada. Maxine currently works in the not-for-profit sector with over 16 years’ experience managing community volunteers in various roles with youth, and newcomer populations. She loves reading, listening to old school R & B, and participating in a monthly worship and prayer time with ladies from across Toronto.
