Anne-Marie Racine

Montreal Chapter

Anne-Marie Racine currently serves as co-director of the Montreal Chapter of HOPE worldwide Canada. For several years, she had the privilege to serve as a member of its committee and be a volunteer. Professionally, Anne-Marie has been working as a psychologist for over 20 years in settings such as federal penitentiaries and private clinics; she also served in community centers and delivered rehabilitation programs. On an international level, she volunteered with HOPE worldwide in an orphanage in Haiti and has provided psychosocial support and workshops on post-traumatic stress (in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, in Abidjan after the 2011 civil war and, more recently through videoconference to a Haitian community during the 2023 Humanitarian crisis). On a more personal level, Anne-Marie enjoys nature and has a particular interest in integrating art to make psychotherapeutic principles more accessible to teenagers.
