Quebec City Chapter
About our Chapter
Quebec City is a new chapter. We love serving children in other countries and inspire young people to get involved and help those in need, encouraging them to let them know that they are not alone and that they are loved. Each Christmas we collect gifts and school supplies to send to different countries. We send them letters as a way to warm their hearts. We hope that this program will spread throughout Canada.
We want to bring hope to those most in need and mobilize people through our programs, awakening their desire to give and be a part of the solution.
Volunteer Opportunities
Backpack full of love for the children of Ukraine
In collaboration with HOPE and Cape Rouge Youth House we are collecting gifts for children in Ukraine. We are collecting one backpack per child ages 2-16 (you can choose the age) that will contain school supplies, toys and clothing. You can drop it off at the Cape Rouge Youth House, or contact us at quebeccity@hopewwcanada.org for other arrangements.

Manuela Valverde is the co-chapter director of the Quebec City chapter of HOPE worldwide Canada. Originally from Colombia, she moved to Canada in 2012. She has been following Jesus since 2021. She loves reaching out to people and helping them. She also enjoys dancing, exercising, learning about new cultures, and traveling. With HOPEwwC, she would like to help children and inspire young people in Quebec to help other communities. She wants to share the love that God gives her every day.

Grace Rojas joined HOPE worldwide in 1997 when she became a Christian in Bogota, Colombia. She volunteered as a psychology student assisting in different social programs and was moved by the impact of loving others in need. She moved to Quebec in 2010 and now wants to continue serving God by responding with compassion instead of indifference. She enjoys nature, biking, reading, sharing with people, and getting to know new places and cultures.
