Thank you to everyone who donated food, gloves and coats to the Winter Drive for the Toronto chapter this year.
I was a resounding success as you turned out in large numbers to give wholeheartedly for the poor and homeless.
Over 200 heavy duty winter jackets, one full bag of gloves and about 3000 pieces of non-perishable foods were collected to help homeless people get out of the cold in this winter season.
The items collected went to the Out of the Cold program, Good Shepherd, Sistering women's centre and the Food Harvest.
Jennifer Frank, Coordinator of the Out of The Cold Program with HOPE worldwide Canada volunteers.
Mark Johnson, the program coordinator, expressed his appreciated to all the donors, visitors and members of the Toronto church for their generosity.
