“Freely you have received, freely give”
The Toronto Central chapter invites you to donate non perishable food items as part of their "Easter Love Baskets" campaign. The donated items will be distributed to poor and vulnerable families and individuals in need in Toronto.
Collection date: Easter Sunday, April 21
Venue: Lobby, Toronto Centre for the Arts, 5040 Yonge St, North York, ON M2N 6R8
Time: 10: 00 am
Individuals or groups should bring their 'love baskets' to church and drop them off at the HOPE worldwide Canada table in the lobby.
Suggested items to fill the baskets or reusable bags
$50 gift card from No Frills or any other restaurant or store gift card (to purchase groceries or for dining).
Non-perishable foods such as : (Pasta-canned or dry, Pasta sauce, Tuna, Peanut butter, Jam, Canned goods-beans, soup, stews, canned vegetables, granola bars, breakfast cereals.
Any additional gift item of your choice to make it a little more special.
Special Note:
ALL items should be put in a basket OR gift bag OR reusable shopping bag.
Please do not donate items past expiration dates or items in glass containers.
