On Sunday, December 8th, the Toronto West chapter had it's first Annual Christmas Toy Drive.
With the donations from members of the Toronto West church congregation, they were able to make about 100 gift bags. They also collected 31 gift cards and $195.00 in cash.
They had over 30 volunteers from all age groups who stayed on to sort and pack the gift bags.
We truly are grateful for the gifts, the volunteers but most of all for the hearts of everyone who helped or donated.
These gifts will certainly bring great joy to many children this Christmas.
The presents will be donated to the Salvation Army shelter on Dundas, Mississauga, and some to the Shelter for Abused Women and their children, in Brampton.
