On Saturday, September 15th, a group of cheerful volunteers from the Toronto chapters marched in the Toronto Ukrainian Festival Parade. The Ukrainian Festival is an annual event to showcase Ukrainian culture held in the West part of Toronto. It is the largest Ukrainian street festival in North America, attracting over 600,000 visitors to the area.
Our volunteers marched to support The Helping Hand for Ukraine project. They also handed out flyers to members of the public to promote the project, which is partly funded by HOPE worldwide Canada. This project is run by HOPE worldwide Ukraine to provide socio-psychological assistance to children suffering from war trauma.
