Toronto West Chapter

About Our Chapter

The main Beneficiary Organization of The Toronto West Region of HOPE worldwide Canada is The Salvation Army, Honeychurch Family Life Resource Centre, Brampton, Ontario. This location provides temporary shelter for abused women and children. At this Shelter, the women and children are safe from their abusers. The women receive invaluable information and life skills, such as:

- how to develop a plan of action,
- get assistance with legal services,
- crisis counselling

- job interview training

The kids have homework clubs to help them with their school work and they too receive counselling.

Our mission in the Toronto West Chapter is to assist these at-risk families by donating food, personal items , back to school backpacks, clothing ,winter gear and Christmas gifts .

We appreciate any monetary donations that you can make to assist us to help these women and their children to retain their dignity and continue to be productive members of our community.

We thank you for your support!
